Application:The CTSR family of mini split-core current transformers offers fast and easy installation into existing AC electric power distribution systems where space is a premium. The split-core current transformers feature a high performance magnetic core in a small physical package, providing highly accurate AC current measurement. The robust packaging features a mechanical hinge for multiple open/ close actions, tight fitting of the mating core halves and secure closure of the current transformer after installation. These features ensures consistent and highly accurate AC current measurement performance over the life of the current transformer.

The CTSR024 Series of UL 2808 certified miniature split-core current transformers are designed for fast and easy installation. The split-core design permits non-contact current measurements through magnetic field induction without requiring that the primary wire be taken offline and disconnected for CT installation. This method permits a safer, easier, and portable current measurement. The relatively small physical size accommodates applications where the installation of the CT will be in physically small spaces.
